They're Everywhere, They're Everywhere

I promised to show you the birdhouses Lon has collected to decorate our screen porch. They hang, sit on tables, are shelved, stand on posts, and look down on us from the rafters. In other words, they're everywhere. You can click on the photos if you'd like to see their many details up close. As in the yard, these unique additions bring cheeriness and a nice touch to our screen room.

May I direct your attention to the upper left photo, please. If you look closely in the background under the overhang, you'll see Rockin' Robin atop her nest where she presently spends nearly all of her time. Per my research, I expect to see her young chicks in approximately one week give or take a day or two.

Rockin' Robin saw all your birdhouses and figured this was the place to be. We've got a few birdhouses too. But you have us beat. I love the previous story about you and Lon as well.

For all your wonderful stories and your kindnesses, I've given you The "Love Ya" Blog over at my blog. Thanks for everything!\

Wow, that Lon has an eye for decor. I love those bird houses. And kudos to you for arranging the photos here. I haven't mastered anything but one after the other. Did I say "mastered?" That's a laugher.

Well if I was a bird I would move into the white one with the key. Looks lovely.

By the way I do hope you two had a wonderful anniversary. I thought about you both on Sunday and realised that you two could be millionaires if you could only bottle the secret of your success.

Glad to hear Ms Robin is doing well, us single mom's need to stick together lol.

Much love Lia.xx

Mary Anne: Thank YOU for everything!
Rob: I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. Are you flying solo yet?
Gully: Lon sure does have an eye for decor. I think I do too so sometimes we clash. I didn't arrange the photos; I just got lucky this time. I have no clue how to put them where I want them. I just download them and where they show up is out of my hands. Thanks for thinking I knew something you don't.
Lia: The secret to our success is that Lon is a saint. Sweet ladies like you are what makes my blogging a success. Thanks for making it fun.

Shaddy, what browser are you using? If I use Internet Explorer, I can drag those pix around anywhere I want them, wrap text, etc., but they always remain the same size I uploaded originally. If I want them smaller and left or right placed, I have to upload them that way. But if I upload with Firefox, I can't do anything. If I try to drag a photo to make room for text, I wind up with two of the same photo. Other problems crop up when I try to upload to Blogspot from Picasa. We should ask Walk. He's the computer guru for 920, I think.

Gully: I use Internet Explorer always. I've figured out that the first picture I download ends up being the last one displayed. Also I was able to delete a picture when I realized I'd downloaded it twice. I felt like a genius after that. Other than that, I've no concept of how to gain control of photos and certainly not enough time or patience to attempt to gain the knowledge.

How wonderful! I love all your birdhouses! And you're going to have chicks--join the club. Me with my ducklings, Katie with her goslings, Shaddy and her robin chicks. Guess we're all birds of a feather!!!

Linda: We certainly are.
Shokoofeh: Living in Iran and being able to still see the good things in life is going to help you get through these difficult times.

I could spend some serious time on that sun porch of yours Shaddy. It's beautiful. I think my favorite one, without seeing them in person is the little red and green one. How cute!

Hmmmmm...I do have some birdhouses out in the garage that I don't have a place for, I wonder if Mr. Lon would like some more.

Sarie: I love that one too. It's painted to resemble a slice of watermelon. Lon has an empty shelf he just put up on the porch to accommodate any additions to his collection. Perhaps your birdhouses are destined to take a place on it.
