Monster Grape Sighted In Southern Wisconsin

*************I like to enter posts on my blog. I get a kick out of coming up with a subject and then digging through my toybox of words to find the right ones to explain my thoughts, ideas and/or feelings in regards to that subject.

I was brain dead regarding blog post ideas this evening until Lon and I were eating grapes with our dinner. Lon held up his bunch and asked me if I'd ever seen a grape like that monster one in the photo above. I oohed and aahed, stuttered and stammered and finally replied that I've surely never seen such a grape in my whole life. Have you?

Bingo! "Don't eat it. Just hold it," I shrieked as I sprang from my chair, grabbed my camera and took two photos. I plugged my camera into my laptop, loaded the pictures, and here I am, adding another post to my blog. My day is complete; if I do nothing else meaningful today, I am satisfied.

Are you as easily satisfied or do you set higher goals?

LOL Rob!

Shaddy, it's the little things like this that make me happy. I love that the monster grape gave you an "a ha" moment for a blog post. My grapes pale in comparison to these! They look so yummy! Where on earth did you find them?

That's one thing about having a blog...
"hold on! Stop!!" click-click-click on the camera!
Happy Friday dear!

Gully: Alright!
Rob: I see you've posted a photo of yourself in my followers corner. It's nice to have a face to put with your words.
Walk: Nope, never have. Frozen fruit, hmmmmm.
Sarah: I bought them at Woodman's this past Tuesday. I was amazed at that humungously freaky looking grape that Lon found. After I ran around snapping pictures and blogging about it, I asked him if it tasted different. He said it didn't have the good flavor the others in the bunch did. I guess that's another incident of "the best things come in small packages."

Lenore: You're so right! With a camera and a blog, we're happy women. Have a great weekend away.

Shaddy,

Freeze some red seedless grapes and eat them frozen. They're addicting.

I'm a bit like you in that I do feel a need to blog every day or I feel I am letting people down some how.
Oh and Gullible is right about frozen grapes, but you can do it with either red or white grapes.
Much love
Lia xx

We just found an almost identical grape today. Naturally we Googled to see how it rated with others and found these great pics and blog. I would post our pics if I new where/how. Thanks for being "Grape Central"!
