Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year

**************I'd like to thank all of my blog followers who read and/or comment on my posts. I consider your visits and comments as precious gifts from you to me throughout the year. If your name isn't listed below, please accept my apology and know that I appreciate you equally. I wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

(Lon talked me into buying this hat a few years ago. He plopped it on my head and snapped this photo yesterday. Besides being a professional painter and decorator, he likes to decorate me! I didn't know what else to do with the picture so I included it here. I half expect to see a horse to go with the hat in the garage on Christmas morning).

Love the hat! You're such a beautiful woman-inside and out-you would make a staw hat look like fine silk! Thank you for the warm Christmas wishes. I'm honored to be a part of your extended online family.

Also, thank you for the Christmas card and video. They were both very lovely. The sweet little tree angel warmed my heart.

My best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year for you and all of your family.

Thank you for your warm wishes my darling.
I love coming into your blog and having a nose around. From the very first day I knew I would be back.
There is something very very warm and fuzzy about you, that just keeps me glued to your blog.
It's hard to find beautiful people in the World and I stumbled over you, can't tell you how glad I am that I did.

Have yourself a wonderful time and know that I will see you in 2010.
Much love to you, Lon and your fabulous family.

What a wide variety of friends you have!

I love, love, LOVE this picture!!! I think it shows a playful side :) And an aw shucks for the thanks! I have now been blogging for almost a year. That anniversary will occur January 1st, 2010. When I began, I had no inkling what I was in for. I just knew I needed to write. But the benefits of meeting and developing friendships online was one thing I never anticipated. I find the blogs I visit most often are kind of like coming home. They provide comfort, fun and inspiration, especially on days when I somehow need it the most. Thank you Miss Shaddy for your posts this last few months. It has been a pleasure getting to know you.

Shaddy, thanks much for the link on your site. I really like the current pix and think it should remain on your site. Put your dancin' shoes on, gal, and let's rock!

Whoa! Didn't know my picture was going to show up. Now won't I look silly if it doesn't?

The pleasure is all mine Shaddy!
I treasure our friendship as well, such a great way to communicate with like-minded people across the globe isn't it?
Merry Christmas to you, your family & wonderful readers!

dayner: Let's continue our blogging fun in 2010.

Annie: Congratulations on your first full year of blogging. (Mine is approaching in March). The fringe benefits of blogging are indeed amazing.

Gully: Your lovely new picture showed up indeed. I hope to see lots more of it in 2010!

Lenore: Whenever I visit your blog, I know I'm going to be entertained. You keep things short and sweet and oh so fun!

Auntie: Beside being a professional painter and decorator, Lon enjoys decorating me!

I'll do my best to keep providing you with worthwhile words to read. You and Allen are the wind beneath my wings!

I love the hat, too--what a knock-out you are!

Thanks Shaddy for being a blog-buddy this year. You stopping by my blog and commenting has really helped me keep that thing going. I always appreciate your insights. Thanks for writing what you do here, for sharing your life with us via your witty words.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year kid!

Cheryl Peters said...

Rob: I wish you and your beloved family the best of everything in the New Year. I find your sense of humor to always be amusing. Please give baby Bella a kiss and a hug for me.

I love what you said about the visits and comments being precious gifts -- that expresses perfectly the way I feel. I know that if I was lucky enough to get in a room with you, Gullible, Walk and so many other special "virtual" friends, we would start up talking as though we had been best friends since childhood. You have really been there for me, Shaddy, through thick, thin and thicker. Thanks for the link to my blog.

p.s. I love the hat and also the glasses. Super cool. Merry Christmas! (And, as Alex the grandson says to me. . . "Yo. Peace out, girl scout!")

Cheryl Peters said...

Elizabeth: I love Alex's words, "Yo. Peace out, girl scout!" Too funny!

I definitely think you should get a horse to go with the hat! LOL

Thank you so much also for supporting my blog and all your kind and wonderful comments! It wouldn't be nearly as much fun without you and your blog!

Cheryl Peters said...

Mary Anne: A horse would be fun now that I've got the hat to go with it. Although, my hat is extremely low maintenance and I fear a horse would require a bit more care. I reckon I'll keep the hat and pass on the horse.

See you in 2010!

Gullible said...

Shaddy, those hats are very popular in Australia.

Cheryl Peters said...

Gully: Well then, I reckon I better get myself "down under" ASAP!
