Birthdays Are A Laugh!

After a certain age, like around 39, birthdays are much easier to cope with if taken with several strong doses of humor. If we're to age gracefully, we absolutely MUST make it a laughing matter.

There's something else I'd like to make perfectly clear. I may be aging, but I don't have old-age wrinkles, most certainly not. They're good old-fashioned laugh lines.

I got a kick out of these birthday cards that I received this year. I hope you do too.

Great cards! I should have done that with my last batch - they were a hoot too! Seems I can never find ones so clever when I am looking! Happy Belated Birthday, by the way!

Oh gosh, how did your birthday slip by us.....would that be because you didn't let on.

Parrot Writes: Thanks for the wishes. I really didn't want to advertise my birthday but I thought these cards were so good I just had to share them.

Ocean Girl: Thanks for stopping in and for the kind wishes. Yes, we have more than our share of laughs.

Lia: You're right. I didn't want to let on about my birthday but I just had to share the cards which, of course, let the cat out of the bag. Oh well, birthdays happen to the best of us!! Thanks for the love coming from you all the way across the ATLANTIC OCEAN and then over land for a few thousand more miles!! Trust me, I can feel it as if it were coming from next door.

These are great! Thanks for sharing. Remember, we are like fine wine and cheese -- much better with and for the aging process.

Natasha: I'm definitely a fine whiner!

Happy Belated Birthday!

It's definitely best to take the advancing years with a touch of laughter. I also like that at my age I'm not expected to follow the height of fashion. And can be myself a bit more. I didn't follow fashion before. But at least now no one quite expects me to. LOLO

Mary Anne: Thank you so much! Laughter sure helps in the aging process.
