Gulping and Grimacing

I start my day with a large glass of water spiked with between 1 and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Recently, an internet search enlightened me that I must use "organic" apple cider vinegar if I want to reap all of the promised benefits.
*
I found a website, Puritan's Pride, that offers free shipping so I ordered 3 bottles of this nasty stuff. Yes, indeed, it's extremely nasty. It isn't easy to get 12 ounces of water and vinegar down my gullet first thing in the morning without plenty of facial grimaces. Although, I mustn't complain; facial muscle exercises are an added bonus!
*
You may be wondering why I don't follow the label instructions recommending 1 to 2 tsps in 8 ounces of water. I haven't figured that out myself. I suspect it's because I'm surmising that if 1 to 2 tsps is good then 1 to 2 tbsps is terrific. Besides that, I can't convince myself to take the drink 3 times daily; I'd rather get my daily dose down in a single session of gulps and grimaces.
*
I know I'm odd. You know I'm odd. Now you know I'm even odder than you've been thinking. What can I say? I'll do most anything if I'm convinced it's good for me.

Hmmm. Ask your boss what he thinks vinegar does to tooth enamel. Unless, of course, vinegar doesn't harm dental plastic at all, then you're safe.

Gully: Hey, I have my own teeth, thank you very much!! You've made a good point regarding the affect of vinegar on tooth enamel. I hadn't considered that. I will ask my boss about it tomorrow. Since the highly diluted vinegar has only a few seconds of contact per day with my tooth enamel, I'd venture to conclude drinking the water/vinegar mixture won't affect my tooth enamel.

Lia: I doubt there are very many people who would elect to start their day as I do!! Thanks for the positive strokes.

Sarie: I'm not sure which of my great character traits (teehee) allows me to drink vinegar. Bravery? Perhaps. Or just plain old determination? Yes, I think that's it.

Great week!

Lenore: Definitely! Unfortunately, I'm beyond getting much benefit from facial exercises; too much sun exposure has wreaked havoc.

I noticed the label mentioned it is tasty sprinkled over popcorn. I could maybe stomach that but drinking it straight up with water? YUCK!!! Does it help to hold your nose closed, so you don't taste it? You definitely have gusto my friend!!!
