Siesta Key (Post #5)

Last night, we dined at Sam's. I know, I know. In FL we should steer away from steaks and focus of seafood. I wisely chose to dine on crabcakes while my companions enjoyed t-bone steaks. (I've also wisely given up trying to influence those around me with my opinions). The end result was positive. Everyone was happy.

Jared kept saying, "Mom. Maybe you shouldn't drink all of it" as I sipped on this generously sized and generously flavored margarita. For his sake, I stopped before I saw the bottom of the frosty mug. As we put on years, wisdom often shifts from the parent to the child.

My shopping drifted from the necessary items to the desirable.

After I looked at my purchases back at the condo, I realized that I seem to be stuck on the colors blue and shades of orange. I typically go through stages like that.

The snaps on the cardigan drew me in.

The black shorts will work well for summer workouts at NorthPointe.

Early morning, the hot tub and pool areas are bereft of bodies. (Did I spell that right?)

Join me as I walk past the pool to the deck and on to the beach for a gulfside stroll.

I love the patterns the wind draws on the sand.

I bet you recognize these.

The gulf is belching up tons of these this year.

I know, I know. Enough is enough!

Approaching the wall that marks one end of Crescent Beach.

The view from whence I came.

The wall up close and personal.

Heading back to the condo.

Seagrasses are beautiful in their unique gracefulness.

The view as I come from the Siesta Dunes deck and look to the right.

The view as I look to the left toward the wall.

From the beach, I make my way back to the pool.

Dang, that plum wore me out!!!

I intended to delete some of the photos above to prevent the chance of boring you. Unfortunately, I didn't know which to get rid of, thus, you get the whole enchilada. (Decision making is not one of my strong points; please forgive me, my friends).

Ah these posts make me want to vacation too! Tomorrow it's supposed to be nice spring weather and then (just in time for the weekend) back to rain and snow it is!

Glad you're having a good time down there Shaddy! Awesome pictures!

I am so glad that you are rubbish at decision making for two reasons, I'm hopeless at it too, so I now have company. But more so because it meant we all got to see so much and go on a wonderful walk with you in the Florida sunshine.
It's grey and horrid here today with rain expected all weekend in London, so you sunny photo's are a welcome break.
Much love
Lia
