WooHoo...Looky Here!!!!

While many of you have changed the look of your blogs quite often, mine has remained unaltered for way too long. Several times I wanted and needed a change for the sake of variety, but Blogger (my website facilitator) didn't have any other available templates that I liked better than the one I was using.

Recently, I noticed that Blogger was offering some new templates. Now that things are settling down for me after the triathlon, I had a chance to check them out. I "test drove" a few and wasn't impressed at all. After frantically fumbling with my fingers for what seemed like forever, I fell face first into this one. When I regained consciousness, I took a good long look and fell head over heels in love with my new blog decor.

A monkey could have done what I did to apply the new template to my blog. I'm still reeling at the tremendous change that occurred when I simply clicked my mouse a couple of times. I'm excited about the bright colors and abstract design that now frame and showcase my blog ingredients.

I'm hooked on this particular blog background and thus won't be changing it for a long time, but still I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on "my new look."

I love the bright colors! And I agree, its so easy to change. In fact I've changed mine about 5 times in the past 2 weeks trying to figure out what I like best. So far I think I'm sticking with the one I have for the Notations Blog, but I did use one of the new templates for my Cheerific 365 Photo blog!

I love how you can pick a standard template and change the colors. Good job Shaddy, it looks great!

CHEERIFIC: Change is good isn't it. It's like going into a store to shop. If everything's always in the same place, we don't notice what's on the shelves that we don't normally go to. If the inventory changes locations, all of the sudden we're forced to open our eyes and look around.

I'm glad you like the bright colors; I actually don't care for pink but with the red and orange shades, it's OK.

One of these days I'll get over to your Cheerific 365 Photo blog; it's hard to find time to do all I'd like to do. You know how that goes, I'm sure.

Looks great! The colors are bright and cheery! I also like that the print is larger. Maybe that's just my aging eyes :)
I'm looking to make a change for summer - will have to see what I can come up with.

I love it! It is fresh. It reminds me of a nice cool smoothie. (Without the granola.)

Yes, yes. Much easier to read. But, you need to bring back the hat pix.

Wow! What a surprise when I came over to your blog for a visit this morning! I love the new bright colors and larger text (or at least it seems larger).

PARROT: The print was definitely too small at first so I made adjustments to increase the size a couple of notches. I'm glad it suits you.

DARKSCULPTURES: It's a far cry from the dark background I've had for over a year. You've put up with the same "wallpaper" for long enough; I'm anticipating that my readers' moods will be uplifted immediately upon stepping inside my world.

GULLY: Goody, goody. I'm glad I took a step in the right direction.

I don't like the photo you're referring to. I'll have Lon snap another one; my hat was pulled too far down on my head in the first one.

SARIE: I bet you thought you'd come to the wrong place!! I feel like I do when I've had a haircut that I like or when I'm wearing a new outfit. Who knows what will be drawn from the depths of my mind now that I've "seen the light."

Oh, this is freaky weird how the post scrolls down but the background page stays static. One could get seasick...

GULLY: If you feel seasick just pretend you're on that ferry again.

Freaky weird is that photo of you with that mosquito net on your head!!

LENORE: I'm so glad you like it; I think it's much more upbeat looking than the old look.

NATASHA: We can all use a good dose of cheerfulness these days!
