Here a Book, There a Book, Everywhere a Book, Book

A week or so ago, I didn't know what to read next. Since then, I've a long list of books that I've seen others reading or that my friends have recommended.

Here's my list.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larson

The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larson

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larson

Little Bee by Chris Cleave

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

Testament by John Grisham

The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexandra McCall Smith

Sisterhood Series by Fern Michaels

Bel Canto by Ann Patchett

Born To Run by Christopher McDougal

As long as I'm accumulating a book list, why not make it extraordinarily long? Have you any titles you think I should add?

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot

The Help by Kathryn Stockett

Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay

The Lost City of Z by David Grann

That'll keep you out of trouble for a while. Hope you enjoy Steig Larson as much as I did.

I have on my list:

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers

Saturday by Ian McEwan

The rest are YA novels and the Pulitzer List I try to pull at least two books a year from.

GULLY: I think I'll retire tomorrow so I have more reading time! Thanks a bunch for these titles.

DARKSCULPTURES: I read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter early this year but I added Saturday to my growing list.

I appreciate your book ideas.

I liked the last two books I just finished - The Help by Kathryn Stockett, and The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.

JANA: Dan Brown's books are always good! Thank you.
