New Post

For lack of a title, I'll call this New Post.

For lack of an idea to expound upon, I sit idle. My brain has been napping for days. I don't have anything to blame it on, thus, even words of accusation aren't forthcoming.

Perhaps, you will welcome only a brief stay here. It offers you an opportunity to move on quickly to another blogger who undoubtedly will have something to say.

I leave now, somewhat embarrassed,
yet with hopes that I'll do better next time.

You're so funny.
I love it - now we have to worry about blank blog page syndrome. New Post was nicely worded though.

JANA: I can see it now, a commercial for a new medication proven to cure writers who experience BBPS. I'll be on the phone immmediately, calling my doctor to ask if it's right for me.

Happens to me all the time. Just didn't know what to call it. Now maybe I can seek treatment, some type of therapy or just plain chalk it up to nuttin good to say today.

I can imagine some of the side effects of this miracle drug -- blurry vision, inability to focus, repetition, repetition, mispeling werds, neck and shoulder cramps. And to prevent injury, if you have a fear of rejection that lasts more than 4 hours, call your doctor immediately.

VANESSA: The rocks in my head rattle and roll too!

PARROT: I know lots of folks who love to hear themselves talk in spite of the fact they have nothing of value to say. Good grief, I'm like them!

JANA: Thanks for bringing this post to life.

Enjoy your weekend dear Shaddy!

SARIE: Discipline. That's a positive take on it. I knew you'd come up with something good to say about it.

It's hard to believe that we had our windows open a few days ago! That pleasure was short-lived.

LENORE: I'm a habitual blah, blah, blah, blagher.

I hope you slid back home without a fuss or any mess.

I am so there! Right there with you. Not a word to say on my own blog. You'd think that someone who likes to gab as much as I do would never run out of things to write.

sigh.

LINDA: I'd say we've both come down with a bad case of Blogger's Block or as Jana called it, Blank Blog Page Syndrome.

Whatever it's called, I don't much like it!!! I'll try a home remedy before I call my doctor. I'm hoping I'll break through my slump by sleeping with a dictionary under my pillow a night or two.

On second thought, I'll be trading my blogger's block for a stiff neck.

It all boils down to this: being a blogger can be a pain in the neck.

P.S. I linked this as part of my Friday Five over at Cheerific Notations. Have a great weekend!

VANESSA: I was just there! Thank you for including me; I certainly wasn't expecting such recognition.
