A Walk, Wine, Beer and the Beach

Come with Lon and I on a walk to the Gulf.

We've come down four flights of stairs.  After a few turns we'll be facing the Gulf of Mexico.
Others enjoying the grounds.
...late afternoon shadows...

...a beer, Lon and my glass of wine...

...on the deck with the Gulf behind me...
...pretty in pink...
...with a green lustrous sheen...
...with a wedge of lime, of course...
...palm trees aplenty...
...love the landscaping...
...hop the fence and you're in the pool...
...dressed to stay warm on a chilly afternoon...
A short drive on Midnight Pass Road got us to dinner Friday evening.  Yesterday, we dined at The Outback.

...ah, yes, I agree with this clam chowder's claim...

Is this the same place you went last year? The pictures look familiar. Wishing you a fun and relaxing time! Looks like you are starting off right with a beer and glass of wine!

PARROT: You have a great memory! Yes, this is the same place. We've been vacationing here for the past 25 years.

SARIE: I'm glad you enjoyed the posts. If it brightens your days to look at FL scenery, I'll try to keep them coming. I'm kind of lazy this year so I may not do as well with photos and words as last year but I know you'll understand.

I almost wrote, "Have a nice weekend" and then I realized today is Monday. That's vacations for you--the days get away from those away from home.

Have a good Monday, Sarie!!
