Nature's Artwork

I'm in awe of the autumn colors Nature intricately paints on leaves before discreetly strewing them at my feet.

This is a beautiful photograph, Shaddy. I love this. What a beautiful idea. You're so creative dear. Thank you for the midday pick me up :)

SARIE: I bought the cup at TR Pottery in Door County. I filled it with coffee and put it on my desk where I had placed the three leaves. Perhaps, if I'd photographed the leaves on the ground the caption would have worked better. That devil hindsight strikes me again!!

Oh well, you liked it so I'm good to go. Where, I have no idea!!?? :) Love ya, Sarie!

SARIE continued: I'm collecting a whole bunch of leaves that I come upon that catch my eye. I'll gather them soon and show off them here. The colors and designs take my breath away!!

I agree and I am looking forward to that post! I can't wait to see your creativity...

I love the scene on your desk though, there's something about it that draws me right to it. The mug is gorgeous! You've put together a lovely, calming scene for me :)

Those leaves weren't painted? They are beautiful! Thanks for sharing! Did they come from your back yard?

STEPH: No, that's the way they were! I know what you mean about their beauty. It's mindboggling that they turn those colors all on their own. The design the colors appear in on surface of the leaves is most clever and fascinating. I want to preserve each and every one that I find. Yes, I find them all around our yard.

I hope you're having a lovely fall day.
