Good Eating Here

Captain Curt's isn't a fancy restaurant but it has the best clam chowder and King Crab.

This sign hangs above the bar.

Like I said before, the place isn't fancy; it's just plain fun.

On our way back to our rental car, we spotted this critter climbing up a pole along the street.  We'd never seen one exactly like this before.  It was about five inches long although it looks much bigger in this photo.

Yeah, that looks like a great place to spend some time. I'd love to try the crab and chowder! Two of my faves. What a fun restaurant.

Your little critter friend is interesting. Chuck would lve him!

SARIE: Captain Curt's is on Midnight Pass Road just a short walk from the condo. You would love the crab and their chowder; they're amazing.

I bet Chuck would love chasing that pole climbing lizardy thing until he caught him and got a close up look! I like the little geckos that run around the condo grounds. They're smaller and cute.

Thanks for your interest in my vacation. What would I do without you? I'm afraid I'd be pretty lonely here on my blog.

That is one creepy crawly. Did you have the King Crab? Long way from home, that King Crab.

Looks fun and yummy!!!

GULLY: Yes, we had the King Crab twice since we've been here. I know, it's weird that with all the seafood available, we order crab that's shipped in from far, far away!!

ANNIE: It surely was both of those things!!

Its me, Parrot - I'm changing my blog name to Linda Writes. Been sending some things out and need to use my real name. Somehow Parrot Writes just doesn't cut it on a short story or novel!
