Downy Woodpeckers Get a Thumbs-Up

We had two Downy Woodpeckers on our backyard feeders.  One of them is harder to see.  Its all-white belly shows from behind the post.

This feeder hangs three feet from the one on the post.  The Downys hopped between both feeders.

Since I don't see them as often as our regular visiters, I always pause to watch them when they stop in.

Great pictures of your visitors. Isn't it fun to watch! We have a pheasant mom and dad that come to our feeder and last week I saw a quail for the first time.
