Birds in Southern Wisconsin on 2/1/15

We woke up to a few inches of snow, today, February 1st, 2015 and it continues to come down.

I love observing how snow piles up on things in our yard.

Snow has transformed this planter into a plushly cushioned stool!! I "almost" want to go out and sit on it.

A junco strikes a pose with its charcoal gray feathers against the white.

A finch stands out nicely against the white background.

Did I say the snow is still coming down?

This birdfeeder is right outside our family room window. This cardinal came flying right at me as I stood with my camera. If only I had captured him in flight. That would have been sooooo cool.

I can't get enough of closeups like this one.

Count them. I see six winter birds hanging out in the bushes awaiting time at the feeder.
This fellow has some very strong hair gel going for him.

Another junco. Is he eating snow? Good grief, buster, there's a heated birdbath just over your left shoulder full of water.

Can you tell I love photographing birds?

Such nice photos of winter snow and your birds. Something I never tire of seeing. ODD .. I jumped over to your website here from Gullible's and I did NOT have to jump the captcha hurdle. What gives with that I ponder. Nice nice and .. Nice!

Cap: I have no idea why you wouldn't have to go through the Captcha fiasco coming from Gully's site. WHO KNOWS MUCH OF ANYTHING THESE DAYS!!!!! I SURE DON"T!!!!!
