I highly recommend this book.
She's Come Undone is written by Wally Lamb. The novel is written in the first person point of view of a female. It's uncanny how the author, a male, wrote such a touching and intimate book from a female's point of view.
The book is described as hilarious by the New York Times. In my opinion, it has it's hilarious moments yet the overall story is quite tragic.
This one's been on my shelf for years now. It seemed very sad each time I started it and then I put it down unread.
ReplyDeleteShould I pick it up again?
Sounds interesting Shaddy! especially written by a man. Don't judge me, but I've been reading too many trashy novels lately...Jackie Collin's hahaha!

Oh I totally agree with you on that, it is tragic. I loved the book overall. It was a little hard to put down if I remember right. Might be a good candidate for another look? It' been over a year since I read it...

NATASHA: I don't know. Maybe it's not for you. It's definitely sad. Why do I enjoy books that are sad?? I wish I knew.
ReplyDeleteLENORE: Sometimes that's just what we need!!
SARIE: Yes!! Thursday has finally arrived. Three more hours of work and I'll be done until Monday. Cool, huh?
So you've read She's Come Undone. That's cool. Yes, I found it hard to put down too. If you liked it the first time, I'd venture to say you'll enjoy it again.
Hugs!
