Duh!

A couple of weeks ago, I couldn't find my cell phone.  (As a rule, I lose it more than I use it).  I spent about twenty minutes searching high and low for the darn thing.  I couldn't see it anywhere.  You know why?  I was talking on it to my sister-in-law.  When I woke up to the fact, I'm sure my facial expression was very similar to that of the clay worm pictured above who lives in my flower pot.

  5. MADDIE: Thank you for making me feel better.

I should mention that I've only recently become a cell phone user. I'm used to taking and making calls at home on our mobile phone. Does that make me sound a little less disturbed???

  7. Reminds me of when I was in elementary school. I thought I forgot my backpack. I ran home as fast as I could so I wouldn't be late. Then I realized it was on my back :)
Hope you had a great weekend Cheryl!!!

  10. Good for you for having the ego-strength to admit you're just as human as the rest of us! I think we've all done things like this at some point.

    Thanks for the laugh.

  11. LENORE: Admitting our human weaknesses always opens the door for others to admit theirs as well. It's all pretty funny.

NATASHA: Thanks for laughing. I've learned it's much healthier than crying over our glitches.

  12. just stopping by to see if you had any new tidbits, and I wanted to tell you I thought about you when doing a post for a joint blog I write on. It's at Gals About Town@ blogspot.com. It entails a beautiful wildflower preserve I visited over the weekend. All the color and flowers I just thought of you!
