Cute Things

*********I love cute things.
When I realized I absolutely HAD to have a new bag of some sort for transporting my makeup when I go to NorthPointe, I started my search. It didn't take me long to come upon exactly what I need.

FOSSIL, INC., the world-famous designer and manufacturer, makes cosmetic cases in a wide selection of sizes and fabric patterns. Lo and behold, I tracked down a collection of them at the Elder-Beerman store in the Beloit Mall.
Initially, I was looking for a larger bag than is available in this line, but I had immediately fallen in love at first sight with the collection and couldn't walk away. I gathered my thoughts, did some quick thinking and acted appropriately; I bought two of the small cosmetic totes. Without pencil and paper, I had calculated: 1 small bag + 1 small bag= 1 large bag. (I've always been exceptionally good at math).
I couldn't be more tickled with my purchases. I must point out that the outer fabric of my new cosmetic cases is very durable and also that the pattern and bright colors I selected please me every time I see, touch and open them.

Of course, a more conservative consumer might argue that a heavy-duty zip lock bag would work as well, but come on now; it wouldn't be nearly as much fun.
I can't fight it. I don't want to fight it. I won't fight it. The simple truth is simply this: I get a BIG kick out of cute, LITTLE things!

They look very festive and cute! And you got two that weren't identical, so you can find what you are looking for easier! Very smart!

PS - I posted the tribute to my sister, if you have time to look.

they are very practical too, I'm sure you can wash them as well...

They are very cute!

(True confession: I am a zip-loc bag kind of girl. And while your polka dot jewelry bag was also adorable, I carry my jewelry when traveling in an old Sucrets tin.)

I need to shop more, I think.....

Parrot: Two identical bags would be boring too. Heaven forbid that I should ever be bored!!! :)

Lenore: Oh, yes, I'm always a practical girl! Aw, gee, that's not true. I mustn't lie to you although I think it's obvious that I have my moments of total impracticality.

Natasha: I admire women like you who aren't tempted by extravagant things. A ziploc bag and an old Sucrets tin are wise choices. I do experience some guilt when I purchase these objects of my affection, but I ignore the negative feelings. Then my repressed feelings pop out unexpectedly and inappropriately at a later date and inappropriately and I wonder why. Duh!!!

adorable Shaddy,
to answer your Q; they don't eat the leaves, I'm sure some farm animals do...the goats!
Great day to you lady!

Lenore: It's a good thing I'm not in Singapore as you are. I'd probably try to bite into the banana leaves, thinking they were part of the meal!! Like a burrito!

Shaddy, I was watching a show last night and while watching it I couldn't help but think of you.
I have posted you a link so you can see the shows info and maybe watch it if you like. But it won't be there for very long.
Sue Johnson is one of our actresses over here, you won't know her, but she is a nice lady.
But I can't help thinking that you would love the book she is talking about and the show it's self.

Any way, much love Lia xx

darksculptures: Indeed we do!

Lia: How sweet of you to think of me! I tried to watch the show you mentioned but was informed that "currently, BBC iplayer TV programs are available to play in the UK only."

I did read some printed material on the website that told of the book Sue Johnston has been influenced by: James Hilton's Lost Horizon. I'll definitely read it ASAP.

Thanks again for thinking of me.

When one small bag + one small bag = several big grins, then the purchase was well worth it!

Zelda: I think so too!

Sarie: Elder Beerman has the best stuff and the best prices around, that's my opinion anyway. But then there's TJMaxx, another great store.
