I received the following quote in my e-mail inbox today:
The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE. Keep this constantly in
mind. Weak desire brings weak results, just as a small fire makes a small amount
of heat.

I also received an e-mail from my Aunt Babe today. This is what she wrote:
Are you really going to try that writing event again? That
sure seems like a big task.
Would you not rather sit back and relax with a glass of
wine?
Based on the quote from the Goodreads website (which reminds me of my lack of writing desire) and the loving advice from my Aunt Babe, I've decided to participate in ThiOnDaChe instead of undertaking NaNoWriMo.
I've written three 50,000 word books over the past three Novembers, thus, I think it's time to move on. I'm determined to kick back, leave the writing to others and put my heart into ThiOnDaChe, that is, Thirty-One Days of Cheer.
May I direct your eyes to the photo above. Thanks to Babe, my laptop will remain closed to intense writing in November, while this wine bottle, and many more, will be popped open and enjoyed.
CHEERS!
