The grayish brown finch here has a seed in its bill.
I enjoy the pretty red feathered finches too.
Yesterday, my brother John and sister-in-law Phyllis invited us to their home on the river for an evening bonfire.
I especially like the vibrant yellow finches. The yellow is so bright that it fascinates me every time I see it.

The view of the river, the fire, the fine weather and the company couldn't have been better.

Oh you have some great shots here Shaddy! I also love brightly colored birds, however my husband somehow has a phobia of anything with wings and so I am unable to have a feeder!!
Thank you, Shaddy, for sharing your little piece of heaven with us. Your new feathered friends are quaint and lovely and the bonfire cast its hypnotic tranquility into my soul. Ahhhhh
CHEERIFIC: I'm glad you enjoyed the birds. Somehow, my husband is nearly fanatical regarding his love of birds and birdhouses. We need a happy medium, don't we!
DARKSCULPTURES: I'm pleased to have introduced some tranquility into your soul. That's what long weekends are for, right?
Your pictures are beautiful. I enjoy bird watching but haven't gotten my feeders out and stocked for a while now. Tomorrow I'm changing that.
The river, a gorgeous sunset, a bonfire--and all that shared with loved-ones. Perfection.
Thanks for sharing.
JANA: Here's hoping you'll get a nice variety of birds when you fill and hang your feeders.
Our evening surely was perfection; we loved it.
Have a great week, Jana.
