One Strawberry Each!

Lon and I bought this hanging strawberry plant about a month ago.  I didn't really expect to see strawberries.

For once, I'm glad I was wrong!!
Lon, Jared and I feasted on one strawberry a piece yesterday.  It's amazing how good something tastes when there's only one small morsel to savor!

Absolutely! I haven't gotten one yet from my small crop, but it'll taste great when I do!

OMG! That's so cool Shaddy! Congrats on your new baby! LOL! Strawberries might very well be the best part of June. And, let me just say that I absolutely love that second picture, it's so pretty!

LINDA: We'll be heading to the nearest strawberry patch in a few days to buy enough for shortcake. Is there anything better?

Gully: It sure does. And more we shall have although not many more from this little hanging strawberry patch!

SARIE: Thank you, sweetie. We'll be heading to Skelly's Farm Market for more strawberries very, very soon. There main location and their stands will be open beginning tomorrow. Homemade Bisquick shortcake warmed up, slathered with butter, strawberries and Cool Whip--I can't wait!!

I love your prairie grass signature!

Yummo strawberries! We're considering growing blueberries at our house. If we do, I can FedEx you a pie :)

Good for you, Shaddy! Local strawberries are done here, so we're working on blueberries and peaches.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Pass the shortcake biscuits please...

NATASHA: Thanks for dropping by! Blueberries and peaches are right up there with strawberries as far as delights of summer are rated.

Enjoy your days.
