This is just a quick note to let you know that I haven't buried myself under the rather large number of words I've written to date for NaNoWriMo 2011. I'm happy to report that I'm right on target if I'm to reach 50,000 words by midnight on November 30th.
I'm writing approximately 1,667 words each day. If I continue at that rate, I'll finish my novel this month and be a NaNo winner. Today is day 17. My total word count after today's writing is 28,427, just a smidgen ahead of schedule.
If you like to write, it's really not hard to write 1,667 words in a day. If you've never tried, I'd like you to encourage you to do it. You might be pleasantly surprised, in fact, I bet you will.
Thanks for checking on me.

What's HARD is writing only 500 words!!!
Bravo, bravo!!! It's so fun following your progress every year. Reading your novels is the best thing ever. I love, love, love!!
GULLY: I remember back in 2006 when we were taking BWW and our final project was to write 500 words. That seemed like a huge writing assignment to me. Now I'm writing 50,000 words and saying it's easy. I love it!!!
I know what you're saying is that telling a good story in a mere 500 words can be challenging.
SARIE: Traveling through November with you supporting me makes my daily efforts fun, fun, fun. Thank you so much for cheering me on every step of the way.
Good for you! I'm not NaNoing this year but I'm cheering on those who are.
Keep writing!!
NATASHA: I'm staying on schedule with my writing; it's a priority that I won't let slip.
Thanks for your interest.
I mentioned you at Ann's...
GULLY: Thank you.
Get NaNo done. We miss you at ANn's.
