The Only Shovel I Need

I know. I know.  You think I should put this away.  Christmas is long gone, but listen up.   There is a good reason for keeping this lightweight, decorative shovel near the door.
Our winter has been very, very mild.  I'd be exaggerating if I told you this is the ONLY equipment I've needed to clear the snow we've had all season.  Although, I wouldn't be too far from the truth.

I'm very thankful for the lack of snow this year.  I'd much rather push this little fellow than try to control the monster snow blower that hangs out in our shed.

Criminy! As of this morning, my snow plowing expenses are near $1500.00 since November. That involves front end loaders with plow blades, Bobcats with buckets, and men with shovels. Not counting the snow shoveling I do myself.

That's a darling shovel. No danger you'll wear the paint off it.

I love it! That's so cute, Shaddy! I wouldn't put that away either :) Maybe you should leave it out until we're in the clear of winter? Maybe it's bringing us good luck? Silly, I know, but you know me :)

Have a nice Wednesday night dear!

SARIE: I will take your advice. I think my little shovel does have something to do with our mild winter. What a day we had today, huh? The warm temps and sunshine are so, so wonderful.
