Shaddy's Snacks

Are you familiar with Kashi: The Seven Whole Grain Company's products on the shelves in your grocery store?

My latest find is Kashi’s U cereal. I don’t eat it for breakfast but enjoy it in the evening as a snack while I’m relaxing with a book. It’s satisfies my cravings and is nutritious as well.

I pour it from its 100% recycled paper box into a bowl and eat it with my fingers like popcorn.

You know grains are good for you. Right? Well, get a load of this. U cereal ingredients include: hard red winter wheat, oat, rye, long grain brown rice, buckwheat, barley, sesame seeds, walnuts, black currants, oat clusters with acai fruit and more.

The currants are surprisingly light and crunchy. The overall sweetness of this cereal comes from cane juice and honey. I feel good when I eat natural foods, don't you?

I often start my day with Kashi TLC Chewy Granola Bar. My favorite is the Trail Mix bar.

I'm always amazed by the number of almonds in every bar and the wide variety of other natural ingredients.

Looking back on my day, Kashi has me coming and going.

I love both the Kashi cereals and snack bars. The upside is that they are healthy, but with one mention of how "good for you" they are to the cereal hogs in my house and I get the whole box to myself. If only they knew - hehe.

KATHAN: So far I'm not informing anyone of the quality of Kashi products. I'm glad you're already enjoying the taste and nutritional value of their goodies.

Oh! I'll have to try that cereal! I love their granola bars. They're perfect for those afternoon yawns, lol. Kashi is one of my faves as far as snacks and food, their stuff has such great flavor. Bonus that they're good for you too! Thanks for the tip dear!
Love ya :)

SARIE: I won't even try any other brands of granola bars. I know I'd be disappointed. I almost freaked this morning when I pulled open my snack drawer at work and realized that yesterday I'd eaten my last stashed Kashi granola bar and I'd forgotten to restock my drawer. I was bummed out. I've packed three boxes from my stock at home in my work bag. I really NEED my granola bar fix with coffee first thing!! You know what I mean?

Uh oh -- next thing we know, Shaddy will be doing a post with a picture of the fourteen boxes of Kashi that the company sent her for mentioning the stuff on her blog! We know your motive here. ;)

I like their cereal too.

NATASHA and SARIE: That would be awesome. I wonder who of my readers would end up with free stuff passed on from me. I do love doing that.
